have.
What is the tempearture like in the Dordogne?
The graph below shows the comparison of the yearly average temperatures for each month between the
Dordogne and London. The average summer temperature is 26oc, but in even in April and
September, the temperature can reach 30oc. Winters can be magical, with a deep frost
penertrating everything as far as the eye can see, covering the landscape in a white carpet and
making that log fire in the farmhouse even more welcoming!
What is the easiest way to travel to the property?
You can drive from the north coast of France which will take approximately 6-8 hours, or from Calais
which will take about 10 hours. You can fly from Stanstead, Bristol
or Southampton to Bergerac (50 minutes from the properties) or to Bordeaux (1 hour 15 minutes to the properties).

Are the pools shared?
No. Each property has its own private swimming pool.
Do we need to bring our own towels or bed linen?
No. Fresh bed linen and towels are provided. All duvets and pillows have a feather filling, so if any
guest
has an allergy to feather-filled bedding, please let us know when making your booking.
What accommodation facilities are there for very small children?
If your party contains small children, there is a cot and a high chair available. Some toys are also
provided. All the pools are alarmed.
Which day is the change-over day?
Change-overs are always on a Saturday unless specially arranged with us beforehand.
What time can we arrive on our first day?
You can arrive on the first Saturday of your stay anytime after 4pm.
What time do we have to vacate our rooms?
You will need to vacate the property by 10am on the Saturday morning of your leaving date.
How far is it to the nearest town, supermarket, bank, garage?
The nearest town is Riberac and is approximately 3km away. Riberac has two supermarkets (both sell
fuel),
many banks (which take English Switch cards in their hole-in-the-wall machines, dispensing Euros) and
plenty
of smaller shops.
